Occupational Health and Safety Nurse

You are able to swiftly maneuver through the complexity of serving different legal and cultural practices for our global offices, while also finding creative opportunities to provide Googlers with helpful support. You'll build an understanding of what wellness truly means, and implement innovative programs as Google grows in size.

We bring the world's most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement labor health protection matters, including education, awareness raising and health guidance. Provide first aid, emergency treatment and health consultation.
• Maintain the records of occupational injury and diseases and assist in the investigation of on-site injuries and document.
• Identify and evaluate potential health and safety precautions at the workplace.
• Promote an employee's healthy lifestyle and well-being through teaching and providing awareness.
• Collaborate with members of the Benefits and wider People Operations team on local and regional projects.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Nursing certificate with a local Registered Nurse License and Occupational Health (OH) nurse certificate.
• 2 years of experience working in an Employee Health Management capacity.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with HR policies and practices, state and federal employment laws, and compliance guidelines.
• Experience working both independently and in a team environment.
• Advanced knowledge of nursing techniques, anatomy, occupational medicine, industrial hygiene and occupational safety.
• Ability to think strategically while managing details.
• Ability to establish relationships across worldwide time zones via email and video calls.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
