Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join an Adult Social Care service in Newham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident OT with strong moving & handling and ASC assessment experience, working with individuals, families, care providers and care co-ordinators within residents' homes.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• ASC OT assessments and caseload management
  
• DHC to SHC reviews and right-sizing care packages
  
• Strong moving & handling assessment experience essential
  
• Risk assessments and handling plans
  
• Experience working with home care providers, individuals and families
  
• Moving & handling training desirable
  
• Experience with postural and seating assessments
  
• Ability to create basic drawings for standard adaptations such as LAS
  
• Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines
  
• OT Practice Manager supervision provided
  
• Access to relevant in-service training
  
• Azeus Care notes system

Qualifications & Experience: 

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist 
• Eligible to work in the UK 
• Post-qualified experience 
• HCPC-registered 
• Degree in Occupational Therapy
