What you'll do
- ELD Performance Oversight : Oversee, evaluate, and ensure ELD performance while working with the ELD Coordinator to resolve any issues.
- DOT Compliance : Communicate, review, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations; maintain updated logs for driver review.
- Driver Support : Resolve driver issues and needs, both on and off the road.
- Routing Adjustments : Review backhaul assignments and make necessary adjustments to routing or delivery plans.
- Time Off Coordination : Coordinate time off requests with appropriate management personnel.
- Documentation Accuracy : Ensure driver documentation is completed accurately on a daily basis.
- Efficient Routing : Collaborate with Logistics to establish and optimize efficient routing.
- Daily Issue Management : Review the communication log and address any open issues daily.
- Performance Analysis : Analyze driver performance and provide recommendations to appropriate personnel.
- Supervisory Support : Assist the Transportation Manager in carrying out supervisory responsibilities, including directing Dispatchers and resolving departmental personnel issues.
- Project Management : Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

- Associate's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in transportation or a related role, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
