The Operations & Strategy Manager at NordSpace will play a critical role on the team to help coordinate our projects, manage day-to-day operations, interface with external partners in industry and government, oversee safety and compliance, manage critical supply chains, and pursue new avenues for growth for the company. This is a role that requires someone who genuinely cares about Canada's future in space and has substantial knowledge and curiosity around the commercial space industry.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of finance, sales, or operations experience, ideally in an industrial/research/scientific company
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering
• Exceptional English writing skills and strong technical writing ability, ideally with writing grants, RFPs, and proposals
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of operational business processes
• A proven agile, innovative and strategic thinker, and a self-starter.
• Knowledge of and deep passion for space, and strong fundamental understanding of science, mathematics and engineering

This is a full-time in-person role at our head office in Markham
