About this role

About the Role

Join our growing Custody Tax team in Gdańsk and become part of a global organization supporting clients across international financial markets. The team is responsible for processing tax reclaims, supporting relief-at-source opportunities, reviewing tax documentation, and ensuring clients receive the appropriate tax benefits on their investments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin or develop a career in financial services, taxation, and asset servicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process international tax reclaim applications.

  • Validate tax documentation, including Certificates of Residence, Powers of Attorney, and other supporting documents.

  • Perform data analysis and reconciliations using internal systems and Excel.

  • Research and resolve operational exceptions and discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, sub-custodians, and external partners.

  • Meet daily productivity, quality, and timeliness targets.

  • Support ongoing process improvement and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

  • Previous experience in financial services, taxation, operations, or asset servicing would be an advantage, but is not required.

Please Note: This role requires a minimum of 3 days of working from office

Minimum Salary:​

zł60,000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
