About the role

 

We’re excited to invite applications for an MMU Operator to join our team at Boundary Hill!

As an MMU Operator, you will operate the MMU to pump the explosive product into pre-drilled blast holes on our customer site. This role is Drive‑In Drive‑Out (DIDO), operating primarily on a lifestyle roster, with staff housing provided for the duration of your roster.

Our industry-leading training programs offer career advancement, with many former MMU Operators moving into roles like Supervisors, Territory Managers and Operational Leaders. We also provide opportunities for growth into our technical services team.

What you will be doing

 

• Operating our MMU vehicle (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and other associated blasting plant and machinery;
• Assisting with preventative maintenance.
• Assist with the 'hands-on' delivery of explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench;
• Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide an excellence in service to our valued customers;
• Daily administration and customer interactions.

What you will bring

 

• An unquestionable attitude toward working safely as a priority;
• Experience operating an MMU, or similar blast delivery vehicle; or
• Current HR Licence;
• Current QLD Explosives Security Clearance;
• A positive team-orientated work ethic;
• A positive attitude to customer service.
