Job Overview:

Job Summary**

The Operator C (Rockhound) at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Rockhound attachment on heavy equipment to clear and prepare land for construction projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to all safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities**

* Operate Rockhound attachments on various heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, skid steers) to efficiently remove rocks, debris, and other obstacles from designated work areas.
* Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment and attachments, identifying and reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
* Ensure the safe operation of equipment, adhering to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding project progress, potential hazards, and equipment issues.
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and attachments as required.
* Assist with other general labor duties on site as needed, including material handling and site clean-up.
* Maintain accurate daily logs of work performed and equipment usage.
* Work effectively in varying weather conditions and demanding outdoor environments.
* Follow directions and instructions from supervisors to ensure project goals are met.

Job Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Proven experience operating heavy equipment, specifically with Rockhound attachments.
* Demonstrated understanding of heavy equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance.
* Ability to read and understand site plans and project specifications.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
