Job Summary:
The Oracle Cloud Warehouse Management (WMS) Solution Lead is responsible for designing and delivering scalable warehouse management solutions using Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud.
This role bridges business operations and technical implementation by translating warehouse process requirements into scalable system configurations and integration designs. The architect works closely with functional consultants, integration teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to Oracle best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design and Configuration
Lead solution design workshops for warehouse processes.
Configure core WMS modules including inbound, outbound, and inventory management.
Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDDs).
Support technical design preparation for integrations and extensions.
Participate in solution blueprinting and gap analysis.
2. Implementation & Project Delivery
Own specific workstreams within large programs or lead full implementations for mid-sized warehouses.
Configure and test WMS setups including:
Putaway and picking strategies
Wave templates
Replenishment rules
RF screens and menus
Support SIT, UAT, and cutover planning.
Assist in data migration activities (item master, locations, inventory, etc.).
Provide post-go-live hypercare support.
3. Integration Support
Collaborate with technical teams to integrate WMS with:
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
Oracle Transportation Management
Order Management Systems
3PL and automation systems
Define and validate API, REST, and file-based integration requirements.
Support testing of inbound and outbound interface transactions (ASN, shipments, inventory sync).
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work directly with warehouse operations teams to understand business needs.
Provide system demonstrations and process walkthroughs.
Support change management and user training sessions.
Act as a functional SME for warehouse process optimization.
5. Continuous Improvement and Support
Identify opportunities for warehouse process optimization using system capabilities.
Recommend configuration enhancements.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
Ensure adherence to Oracle configuration standards and documentation practices.

Strong knowledge of:
ASN and receiving processes
Putaway rules
Picking methods (wave, cluster, batch)
Packing and shipping processes
Cycle counting and inventory adjustments
Replenishment strategies
Understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational metrics.
Oracle Cloud WMS Expertise
Configuration of Oracle Cloud WMS modules.
Advanced rules engine configuration.
RF framework setup.
Label and document design.
Task interleaving and wave templates.
Integration & Data
Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
REST/SOAP APIs
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
EDI transactions (940/945/856)
Data migration templates and validation.
SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
Tools & Technologies
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
BI tools (OTBI, BI Publisher).
Test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
