What you'll do

  • Manage end-to-end purchase order and order tracking activities, including PO issuance and follow-up, production schedules, shipment timelines and delivery exceptions across suppliers in Asia.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments via sea, air and land freight, including freight booking, customs clearance and import/export documentation.
  • Ensure shipments comply with applicable import/export and trade requirements across relevant jurisdictions, including HS code classification, permits, licenses and duty requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers and logistics service providers to coordinate shipments, resolve operational issues and optimize lead times, freight costs and service levels.
  • Maintain accurate shipment tracking and in-transit inventory visibility, proactively identifying and escalating delays, delivery risks and exceptions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including warehouse, finance, engineering and data center operations teams, to align procurement and delivery schedules with project requirements.
  • Support the evaluation and management of freight forwarders and logistics service providers, including service performance reviews and rate negotiations.
  • Maintain complete and audit-ready procurement, order and logistics documentation and records.
  • Prepare regular management reports covering order status, shipment KPIs, procurement data, delivery performance, delays and key risks.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, order management or import/export operations, preferably covering cross-border activities in Asia.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations, customs procedures and trade compliance requirements. Experience with Singapore and Malaysia is preferred, while exposure to other Asian markets is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience managing purchase orders and tracking shipments end-to-end, from order placement through customs clearance to final delivery.
  • Good working knowledge of Incoterms, HS code classification and customs/trade documentation.
  • Experience with ERP, procurement or order/logistics tracking systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, with good follow-through in managing multi-step, cross-border processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and respond to time-sensitive logistics issues.
  • Proactive, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
