What you'll do

  • You will take ownership packaging master data environment, including the related governance standards and data quality processes, and act as the business owner for packaging-related systems, tools and digital solutions

  • In addition, you will define business requirements and interfaces for integration into the SAP environment and other relevant transformation programs, while taking over the IT solution responsibilities and relevant data-collection interfaces established via PPWR implementation

  • You will coordinate packaging master data cleansing, enrichment, migration, and ongoing maintenance activities, while defining business requirements and interfaces for integration into the cross-functional system environment and other relevant transformation programs

  • Reliable data and robust system processes will enable you to support technical documentation, declarations of conformity, EPR reporting and management reporting, while establishing validation routines, data quality KPIs and clear issue-resolution processes

  • Working closely with IT, Procurement, and suppliers, you will improve the quality and usability of incoming packaging data, identify opportunities for automation and system simplification, and retain clear business ownership of requirements, process fit and operational performance


Who you are

  • With several years of experience in master data management, product data, business systems, ERP environments, your background ideally includes acting as a business owner, process owner or key user for enterprise data solutions with experience concerning packaging

  • You understand data governance, data quality, migration, and system integration in a complex organisation and are comfortable working at the interface between business functions and IT delivery teams

  • Bringing analytical rigour and a hands-on approach to day-to-day data and system performance, you translate regulatory and operational needs into clear data models, business requirements and acceptance criteria

  • Experience with SAP environments, packaging, product or material master data, product & packaging declarations or regulatory reporting is an advantage

  • You communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, challenge data quality constructively, and bring a proactive and structured mindset with the motivation to build a scalable environment
