We are currently recruiting Industrial Painters for a premier defence contractor in Osborne, SA. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile maritime projects - preparing, blasting, and painting ships and submarines for Australia's defence fleet.

About the Role

• Surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and industrial painting (spray, brush, and roller)
• Working on specialised maritime vessels, including in confined space environments
• General site preparation and equipment maintenance
• Working collaboratively in a safety-focused team environment
• Adhering strictly to Work Health & Safety (WHS) defence protocols

What You Need to Succeed

• Australian Citizenship is mandatory (due to defence security clearance requirements)
• Proven industrial or commercial painting experience (spray, brush, roller, and surface prep)
• Confined Space Ticket (issued or refreshed within the last 2 years)
• White Card
• Police Clearance (dated within the last 3 months, or willing to obtain)
• High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Boom Lift, etc.) is highly regarded
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and a clean safety record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including initial and ongoing drug & alcohol screening
