  • Responsible for the cleaning of bake pans, cake pans, most equipment used and brought to the pan room, general sanitation duties.
  • Draining and cleaning of both pan washers.
  • Keeping pan room area clean and organized.
  • Know all functions on dish washing machines.
  • Rinse and sanitize walls and floors for 3-5 minutes.
  • Dip and rinse all available mops in bleach water.
  • Take out trash and cover barrel with lid.
  • Organize and dispose of unnecessary items laying around, organize pan room, do not leave a mess.
  • Do not leave dirty pans or buckets in the pan room.
  • Organize and clean pan cart / mixing bowl area daily.
  • Floors should be cleaned minimum of twice weekly.
  • Maintaining record of test strips for both pan washers – confirm that all solutions are dispersed accurately.

Pan & Equipment Washer/Sanitation

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor and Central Bakery Manager

Job Profile: Clerk 1, Sanitation-Central Bakery

Business Title: Sanitation-Central Bakery

Position Summary:

Responsible for the cleaning of bake pans, cake pans, most equipment used and brought to the pan room, general sanitation duties.

Starting Wage:

$17.00

Schedule:

Start Time: Normally 8am or 9am Monday, Wednesday-Saturday (Sunday and Tuesday Off)

Flexible schedule with weekends and holidays

Educations:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience:

No experience required.

Requires ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work independently and with others. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Flexible work schedule, weekends and holidays are required.

Floors should be cleaned minimum of twice weekly.  Varies according to production, occasionally may be required to perform other tasks.  Maintaining record of test strips for both pan washers – confirm that all solutions are dispersed accurately.  Keep all floors and walls clean.  Keep outside of pan washers clean.  Clean under both pan washers / shovel under big pan washer.  Keep metal grates and adjoining floor clean / free of debris.  Keep lights and ceiling grates clean.  Keep sinks and area under sinks clean / including wall.  De-lime pan washers weekly.  Empty buckets of rags daily.  Area in front of pan room clean and organized: Carts straightened, organized. Bowls covered and organized. Cleaned under racks, swept, and moped.  Floor / walkway in front of pan room area swept, cleaned, and organized. 

Environmental Conditions:

Expose to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher. Chemicals: cleaning solutions. Noise: loud machines
