About this role

Aureol Global Connections is looking for a skilled Panel Beater to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring the bodywork of vehicles to their original condition after accidents or collisions. Your expertise in metalwork and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring quality repairs and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Assess damage to vehicle bodywork and prepare repair estimates.
  • Remove damaged panels and components, utilizing tools such as welding equipment and hand tools.
  • Repair or replace damaged panels, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Use body fillers to smooth out imperfections and prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Collaborate with painters and other automotive specialists to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed repairs to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry standards and techniques related to bodywork repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, bodywork processes, and materials.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for automotive repairs.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to bodywork repairs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications in automotive body repair are a plus.
