What you'll do

  • Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and all other professional staff.
  • Provide support to attorneys with drafting pleadings, eFiling, conducting factual and legal research, document review/analysis, preparing productions, and preparing for hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Review, gather, and organize client documents from production to discovery.
  • Assist with preparing pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Provide general office support, maintain and organize files, scan/copy documents, maintain calendars, prepare expense reports, and coordinate internal/external meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Overview

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in its New Orleans office. Qualified candidates must have paralegal experience, preferably in a large law firm setting. This is a full-time position.Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Civil Commercial Litigation or Insurance Defense preferred.
