About this role

About Us

Pacifico Energy is a global energy infrastructure firm supporting complex, large-load projects from development through operations. The company serves as a trusted partner across engineering, financing, construction, and optimization, delivering tailored power solutions for large energy users, including data centers. With over 15 years of experience developing large-scale energy infrastructure, Pacifico brings speed, innovation, and expertise to every stage of a project's lifecycle.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support Pacifico's growing legal department. This role will work closely with the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel while partnering with Development, Finance, HR, EPC, and Executive Leadership to support commercial contracting, corporate governance, project development, and other legal matters across the business.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, business-minded, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities evolve alongside exciting infrastructure projects.

What you get to do:

  • Review, organize, track, and archive a variety of legal documents and commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), service agreements, consulting agreements, vendor contracts, amendments, and other project-related documents.

  • Support real estate and project transactions by coordinating due diligence materials, organizing transaction checklists, maintaining closing documentation, and assisting with title, property, and land-related documentation.

  • Support equity and debt financing transactions by organizing legal documentation, coordinating signature packages, tracking transaction deliverables, and working with internal stakeholders and outside counsel throughout the transaction process.

  • Maintain corporate records, legal entity documentation, contract files, and document repositories while ensuring legal records remain accurate, organized, and up to date.

  • Coordinate document execution through DocuSign and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle by tracking deadlines, renewals, and key obligations.

  • Help establish and maintain document management and contract management systems, including creating organized filing structures and supporting future contract lifecycle management initiatives.

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and assist with legal correspondence, meeting materials, reports, and other administrative support for the legal department.

  • Track outside counsel matters and invoices, coordinate legal requests, and provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the legal function.

  • Partner with Development, EPC, Finance, Human Resources, Executive Leadership, and outside counsel to support legal and transactional matters across the organization.

Job requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm supporting transactional matters.

  • Experience supporting commercial contracts, corporate governance, or transactional legal work.

  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management software.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience supporting real estate transactions, acquisitions, or project development.

  • Experience supporting equity financing, debt financing, or other corporate finance transactions.

  • Experience reviewing, organizing, and managing NDAs and commercial contracts.

  • Experience implementing or maintaining contract lifecycle management (CLM) or document management systems.

  • Experience creating and maintaining organized legal filing systems and document repositories.

  • Experience with DocuSign, SharePoint, or similar document management platforms.

Core competencies:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent judgment and attention to detail.

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to build strong relationships across departments.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
