  • Compile and prepare draft discovery responses.
  • Draft complex motions
  • Assist in the preparation for trials, including trial notebooks, exhibits, subpoenas and witness coordination
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, adversaries, witnesses, court, and team members
  • Interact with people of all levels of the company as a member of the legal team
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented setting
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
  • Manage and prioritize completing deadlines
  • Maintain data integrity in computer platform
  • Support multiple attorneys in the defense of workers’ compensation cases.

Overview

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., a fast-growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for an in-house Paralegal to work in our NJ Staff Counsel office.

 

This position is hybrid 4 days a week in office out of our Princeton, NJ office. 

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decision and legal articles to prepare legal documents including; briefs, pleadings, motions and appeals
  • Compile and prepare draft discovery responses.
