What’s the opportunity?

 

Our four-year Apprenticeship Program gives you the hands-on training and guidance from experienced tradespeople and a Nationally Accredited Trade Certificate through a Registered Training Organisation. As part of our program, you’ll receive necessary tools, TAFE accommodation and additional support if required.

 

The roster is Monday-Friday working a 9-day fortnight.

 

You will be responsible for contributing to the reliability and safe operation of Northparkes’ fixed and mobile plant and equipment by carrying out electrical maintenance site-wide in accordance with industry best practice.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

• Driving a strong safety culture through active caring and accountability
• Completing risk assessments and complying with safety systems and procedures
• Conducting installation, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems including IT networks and communication systems
• Attending TAFE and completing formal training requirements
• Performing preventative maintenance and shutdown repairs on high and low voltage infrastructure
• Identifying defects and providing detailed feedback on work orders
• Supporting maintenance planning and contributing to equipment upgrades
• Maintaining schedule compliance and promoting maintenance best practices
• Demonstrating behaviours aligned with Evolution Mining values

You have completed or are completing Year 12 and hold a current Driver’s Licence.
