What You'll Do

As the Director of Nursing, you'll oversee the clinical operations of our skilled nursing facility and ensure the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the nursing team through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard nursing staff while promoting employee engagement and retention.
• Ensure exceptional resident care through oversight of nursing services on all shifts.
• Direct the resident assessment process, care planning, and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and nursing assignments to maintain quality care.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team on admissions, resident care, and discharge planning.
• Manage nursing department budgets, equipment, and supply needs.
• Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and present quality metrics during leadership meetings.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations while promoting survey readiness.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who brings both clinical expertise and a passion for leadership.

Requirements:

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Working knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
