We are currently recruiting for an experienced Club Lounge Server to join our Club Lounge/In room Dining Team at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa. The Club Lounge is an exclusive space for our VIPs to enjoy some drinks and canapés.

This contract is part time (16 hours, over 3 days)

Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is one of Scotland's leading 5 star hotels. As the largest 5 star hotel, we also have the biggest banqueting and meeting facilities of any hotel in Edinburgh with a capacity of up to 500 and our One Square Restaurant and bar.

Club Lounge Server is responsible for opening and closing of the shift, order taking, serving and preparation of drinks/coffees items and to keep the Lounge neat and tidy at all times.

This role involves working 2 different shifts, 16:15-20:30 shifts and 06:15-12:00 with flexible days

Essential Functions

  • Provide excellent guest service by discovering all of our guests needs and acting on these needs promptly, effectively and with confidence.
  • Ensure that guest expectations are exceeded and standards are consistently maintained.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless transfer of information takes place.
  • To be fully conversant with all restaurant/hotels policies and procedures.
  • When fully competent, to take ownership of the Club Lounge and work with the Manager to make improvements.
