Part Time Special Needs Caregiver (Autism Experience Required) – Hiram, GA
A welcoming family in Hiram, GA is seeking a caring, dependable female caregiver for their verbal 14-year-old daughter with autism and epilepsy. Mom is a teacher with the local school district, and dad works from home on Mondays and Fridays. The family is looking for long-term support with school pickups and afternoon engagement in a safe, nurturing environment.
Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- 12 hours per week
Family Specifications:
- Pet-free home
- Support needed while parents finish their workdays
Responsibilities:
- Pick child up from school and transport her safely home
- Prepare afternoon snacks and engage in social activities
- Attend to general afternoon needs with minimal personal care required
Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting individuals with autism
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle for school transportation
Preferred:

Compensation:
- $15 – $17 per hour (willing to pay higher for the right candidate)
