About this role

Anrok is the leading tax automation platform enabling businesses to expand globally without compliance complexity.

As the digital economy has grown 6x over the last decade, software businesses have gone from not worrying about sales tax to needing to monitor exposure, calculate rates, and file returns across 50+ US jurisdictions and many countries worldwide. This creates a critical bottleneck for companies that should be able to transact with customers everywhere.

Anrok eliminates this complexity by connecting with billing and payment systems to automate tax monitoring, calculations, and filing end-to-end. Our unified platform handles the ever-changing maze of tax laws at municipal, state, and federal levels—so companies can focus on growth, not compliance.

Our customers include:

  • 40% of Forbes Top 50 AI companies

  • 20% of Forbes Top 100 Cloud companies

  • Top companies like Notion, Anthropic, and Cursor

We're making compliant digital commerce a reality for companies big and small, backed by over $100M from leading investors including Spark Capital, Sequoia, Index, and Khosla Ventures.

Drive Revenue Growth Through Strategic Private Equity and Venture Capital Partnerships

As private equity firms scale their portfolios, they need compliance solutions deployed consistently across every company they own — and technology partners who understand how PE firms operate and add value. That's where you come in.

Anrok is launching and scaling a net new PE channel, and PE firms and their broader technology partner ecosystems are a critical growth lever. Backed by over $50M from Sequoia Capital, Index, and Khosla Ventures, we need someone to source, build, and scale strategic partnerships — both directly with PE firms and with technology partner organizations that have a dedicated PE arm — driving portfolio-wide adoption of Anrok.

In this role, you will:

  • Source, recruit, and sign new partnerships with PE/ VC firms and technology partners that have a dedicated PE arm, aligned to Anrok's growth strategy

  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with those partners that generate measurable referral and co-sell revenue across portfolio companies, and own quarterly partnership-sourced SQO targets

  • Deepen existing partner relationships — building principal-level relationships with PE firm leadership and portfolio operations teams to unlock preferred vendor status, portfolio-wide rollouts, and other strategic initiatives

  • Enable partner teams to identify, position, and refer Anrok, working with partner marketing to build co-marketing materials, referral playbooks, and PE-facing positioning

  • Represent Anrok at PE industry events and conferences to build pipeline and engage industry leaders

  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales leadership to shape PE partnership strategy, and track performance to continuously optimize the channel

What excites us:

  • 3+ years of experience working in private equity, plus experience in SaaS partnerships

  • Demonstrated success sourcing and growing new partnerships that drove material revenue

  • Experience carrying and exceeding goals in a quota-carrying role

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to scale strategic initiatives

  • Exceptional relationship builder who can quickly earn trust with partners, principals, and leaders across the PE and VC industry

  • Strategic thinker and self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and drives results with minimal oversight

  • Strong written and verbal communicator, experienced negotiator who is comfortable crafting partnership proposals and PE-facing content

  • Comfortable traveling domestically 1x per month for partner meetings and industry events
