The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an essential part of the care team, working closely with nurses and therapists to support patients throughout their care journey. Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience1. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or
4. Matriculation in a Nursing Program.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
