GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for an Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Officer) to join our welcoming team within our Hervey Bay clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in supporting them throughout their cancer treatment journey. This is a busy, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll thrive if you're organised, adaptable and passionate about providing exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism. More specifically, you will:

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced administrative environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
• Be the first point of contact for patients, providing outstanding service both in person and over the phone.
• Manage a busy workload and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
• Coordinate patient appointments and consultations.
• Process billing and receipting accurately.
• Complete data entry and maintain patient records with a high level of accuracy.
• Support the day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain confidential patient records and documentation.

• A professional phone manner and confidence managing a high volume of enquiries.
