  • Manage Full & Final settlements (F&F) including leave encashment, gratuity, and recoveries.

  • Ensure compliance with Indian labour and payroll regulations including: Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Income Tax (TDS).
  • Support statutory filings, reconciliations, and returns.
  • Assist in responding to internal/external audits and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for payroll transactions.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation of payroll inputs/outputs.
  • Prepare and analyse payroll reports, variance analysis, and MIS dashboards.
  • Maintain payroll trackers, master data, and employee records in HRMS/payroll systems.
  • Support cost analysis and budgeting inputs related to employee compensation.
  • Collaborate closely with HRBPs, Finance and Operations teams for payroll inputs and validations.

Job Description

Overview

The Payroll Analyst / Associate will play a critical role in supporting end-to-end payroll processing for a dynamic workforce in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. The individual will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of payroll while managing complexities such as shift-based workforce, variable components, statutory adherence, and audit readiness.

Your role

  • End-to-End Payroll Execution:
    • Support processing of monthly payroll cycles including validation of inputs such as new joiners, exits, increments, bonuses, overtime, and shift allowances.

    • Ensure seamless coordination for high employee volume and multi-location payroll processing.
  • Process Improvement & Automation:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within payroll operations.
    • Support implementation/enhancement of payroll systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle).
    • Contribute to standardization of payroll processes and SOP documentation.

About you

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Business Administration (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 2–3 years of relevant experience in Indian payroll processing, preferably with bigger MNC.
    • Exposure to handling large employee base and complex salary structures.
  • Technical & Functional Skills:
    • Strong understanding of:
