This job answers all incoming calls on the main telephone line. Pleasantly assists all patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees professionally with questions or directions.

Education

Preferred - High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

Required - 1 year of customer service experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to remain calm, pleasant, and helpful in high pressure situations.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to effectively work both independently and with a team.

The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.

The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
