Job Overview:

Primoris Distribution Services (PDS), a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is a publicly owned and operated construction contracting company that provides both specific and turnkey services for its customers in the gas, oil, electric and telecommunications industry. Primoris Distribution Services is an industry leader in the installation of gas lines (plastic and steel).

Join our Gas Operations team – we are continuously accepting applications for laborers, utility workers, pipe crews, equipment operators, and other gas distribution field positions.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the excavation, backfilling, and restoration of trenches for gas line installation and repair.
* Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Perform manual labor as required, including lifting, carrying, and digging.
* Support skilled craft workers in various tasks related to gas pipeline construction and maintenance.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or GED preferred.
* Previous experience in construction, utility work, or a related field is a plus.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
* Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
