What you'll do
- Design and develop comprehensive performance test strategies and plans, including defining test scope, objectives, workload models, performance benchmarks, and success criteria.
- Create, enhance, and maintain scalable performance test scripts using JMeter, leveraging custom Java coding for advanced test scenarios, integrations, and complex business workflows.
- Execute load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests using JMeter and BlazeMeter.
- Utilize monitoring and observability tools such as AppDynamics to collect, analyze, and correlate performance metrics.
- Identify bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and provide actionable insights to improve application performance.
- Monitor application performance and resource utilization across AWS and Azure environments.
- Analyze infrastructure-level metrics and identify cloud-related performance constraints impacting application reliability and scalability.
- Generate detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Present findings to stakeholders and provide practical recommendations to optimize application, database, and infrastructure performance.
- Partner closely with Development, QA, DevOps, SRE, Product, and Operations teams to ensure performance requirements are defined, validated, and met throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with industry-standard performance testing and monitoring tools including JMeter, BlazeMeter, AppDynamics, and related observability platforms.
