Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant

Location: Glenholme Senior Living Halmer Court, Spalding, PE11 2EL

Pay Rate: £16 per hour

Hours: 44 hours per week, rota basis, alternate weekends- may also include nights and bank holidays

Glenholme Senior Living is looking for a passionate and experienced Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant to join our team.

You will be primarily based at Halmer Court in Spalding, while also providing Senior Care Assistant support at other Glenholme Senior Living services when required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who enjoys variety, is adaptable and confident working with different teams, while remaining committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care.

As a Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our services to maintain consistently high standards of care. You will lead and support care teams on shift, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care that promotes their dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.

Due to the peripatetic nature of the role, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, as you will be required to travel to other Glenholme Senior Living services according to operational needs. This may include days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care is required for this role.

What You'll Be Doing

The home features 61 single bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, and provides high-quality care in a comfortable and supportive setting where residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.

While Halmer Court will be your primary base, flexibility is an important part of this role, and you will be required to support other Glenholme Senior Living services when needed.

What We’re Looking For
