- Provide a variety of services to support the safe and efficient production and use of PET radiopharmaceuticals for research and clinical diagnostic use at MGH.
- Involved in all aspects of the day to day operation of the PET radiopharmaceutical production facility operating under cGMP, including radiochemical production area, analytical laboratory and clean room operations.
- Responsible for helping develop new PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and is expected to master these new processes prior to training peers.
- Assist in the optimization and process improvements to existing validated PET radiopharmaceuticals and works closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to properly document and implement the proposed changes in a cGMP compliant manner.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the technical and mechanical operation of the complex automated radiochemistry equipment, as they will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and performing routine maintenance on the equipment.
