Potential Opportunity to Support a New Product Launch in Australia

IQVIA is inviting expressions of interest from experienced pharmaceutical sales leaders for a potential future opportunity to represent a growing pharmaceutical company as it explores establishing Australian commercial operations. Should this opportunity progress, the role would support the potential launch of an innovative therapy into the Australian market and may involve building market presence and leading a small, agile sales team in the cardiometabolic area.

At this stage, this is not an open position. It is an opportunity to connect with candidates who may be interested in shaping the commercial success of a new product from the ground up, while helping establish the culture, processes and future growth of a new organisation in Australia if the role proceeds.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Country Director, you will lead a team of 2-3 specialty KAMs responsible for introducing a newly launched prescription medicine to healthcare professionals across Australia.

As a hands-on sales leader, you will spend significant time in the field coaching your team, engaging key customers and ensuring successful execution of the launch strategy.

  • Lead the successful launch and ongoing commercial growth of a new pharmaceutical product in Australia.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a small team of high-performing sales representatives.

  • Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working with specialists and hospital customers essential.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to interpret market and sales data.
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership style and a desire to help build a growing organisation.
