What you'll do
- Assists Licensed Therapists and Licensed Therapy Assistants with patient care and therapeutic activities.
- Prepares and maintains the treatment area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Performs clerical duties, including ordering and stocking departmental supplies.
- Transports pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to and from therapy sessions, taking precautions to avoid aggravating any injuries or medical conditions.
- Safely transfers patients in and out of wheelchairs, beds, gurneys, and other equipment using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.
- Assists staff with patient transfers, treatments, and delivery of therapy equipment to patient rooms, as requested.
- Helps manage the therapy schedule, tracks equipment usage, and ensures daily cleaning and maintenance assignments are completed.
- Maintains high personal standards, professionalism, and positive working relationships with team members and patients.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
- Prior hospital Physical Therapy Aide experience preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to work well with others with tact and diplomacy.
- Good verbal, written and listening skills.
- Good organizational skills are essential.
- Basic clerical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands.
Licensure

Pay Range
