Full description from employer

Physiotherapist | Bayside, VIC | Strength-Based Rehabilitation Model

Not your typical physio caseload, and not your typical clinic floor.

This isn't a gym with a treatment room bolted on, and it isn't a traditional physiotherapy clinic either. It's a purpose-built rehabilitation space where clients work through pain and injury using Swiss-engineered strength training machines, under the guidance of a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and exercise scientists. There are no mirrors, no loud music, no distractions, just clients working methodically toward getting stronger and staying that way.

Most clients here are private paying and start their journey managing an injury or persistent pain. From there, many progress into longer-term strength training for lasting health, well beyond the point most services would discharge them. It's rehabilitation with a long runway, not a quick turnaround.

What the caseload looks like:

  • A mix of musculoskeletal presentations across a private paying client base
  • Clients who are genuinely invested in a long-term health outcome, not just symptom relief
  • Close day-to-day collaboration within a multidisciplinary team

What you'll bring:

  • Current AHPRA general registration as a Physiotherapist
  • A genuine interest in strength training and functional rehabilitation as tools for long-term client outcomes
  • Comfort working within a multidisciplinary model rather than in isolation
  • Strong clinical reasoning and the confidence to guide clients through a less conventional rehab pathway

What's on offer:

  • Remuneration of $75,000 to $105,000, depending on experience
  • A strong incentive structure on top of base salary
  • Working from the Brighton location
  • The chance to work inside an evidence-based, internationally established rehabilitation model rather than a generic private practice setup

Why Brighton

This role is based in one of Melbourne's most sought-after bayside pockets. Brighton offers a genuinely appealing lifestyle for anyone working locally, with its famous beach and iconic bathing boxes just minutes away, a relaxed coastal feel paired with the buzz of Church Street's cafes, boutiques and restaurants, leafy parks like Dendy Park for a walk or run before or after work, and an easy commute along the bay from surrounding suburbs. It's the kind of place people are just as happy to work in as they are to spend their weekends.

If you're looking for a caseload that goes beyond short-term symptom management, and a clinic environment built specifically around function and strength rather than a typical gym or physio setting, this could be a genuinely different next step.

Please note: this role does not include a company car.
