  • Fabricate and weld carbon steel process piping
  • Inspect materials and completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Operate grinders, torches, beveling equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Reports To: Fabrication Manager

Position Summary:

The Pipe Welder is responsible for fitting and welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems used in industrial and construction projects. This position requires the ability to work safely, read and interpret drawings, and produce high-quality welds that meet applicable codes, specifications, and customer requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • This position may require travel to various project sites. Mostly outdoors, potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Construction environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Walking in uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day.
  • Standing/sitting for long periods, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs & ladders, and kneeling.

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
