Pipefitter Laborer

Job Overview:

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking experienced Pipefitters to assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our various construction and industrial projects.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
* Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and equipment.
* Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, pressure, and functionality.
* Install valves, hangers, supports, and other control systems.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
* Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project completion.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues in existing piping systems.
* Document work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

Job Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Completion of a recognized pipefitter apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience as a Pipefitter, preferably in heavy civil, industrial, or energy infrastructure projects.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
* Strong knowledge of piping materials, tools, and equipment.
* Experience with various welding techniques relevant to pipefitting (e.g., stick, TIG, MIG).
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations for pipe layouts and material requirements.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to all OSHA regulations.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and at heights, and withstand various weather conditions.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Valid driver's license preferred.

Company Overview:

R.B. Hinkle is an underground and overhead utility contractor, specializing in the installation of conduit, manholes and streetlights through trenching, directional, drilling and moling. The company also provides underground cable installation, including new cable, replacements, upgrades and service restoration.
