  • Maintain stable plant operations while meeting production and steam delivery targets
  • Troubleshoot upset conditions and take corrective action to minimize downtime and optimize performance
  • Prioritize safety, environmental compliance, and production efficiency.
  • Review, revise and write Operations Procedures.
  • Report deficiencies, maintain accurate logbooks and support MOC and work orders processes.
  • Notify leader of emergency/upset situations impacting the facility.
  • Lead or support during emergencies, maintenance, and ERP drills.
  • Participate in safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.

We’re seeking a Plant Operator to join our Lloydminster Thermal Operations team. Whether you’re a 1st Class Power Engineer or 3rd Class Power Engineer, this is an opportunity to advance your career with us. Schedule: Rotating day/night shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extra coverage as needed.

 

Note: This position requires the successful candidate to reside in the Luseland/Unity area or willingness to relocate upon hire and hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with driver’s abstract. Reporting to the Steam Chief, the Plant Operator is expected to have comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, plant equipment, and plant operations in all areas.
