What You’ll Do:

  • The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Read blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs
  • Inspect plumbing systems for safety and functionality

Education:

  • You have your High School Diploma/GED

What Skills You Need:

  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions
  • May require lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces

What Makes You Stand Out:

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and occupied buildings.
  • Ability to distinguish wire colors and use diagnostic instruments.
  • Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies when required.

Work Environment:

This position operates in office, laboratory, industrial, and mechanical room environments. Occasional after-hours support may be required for critical facility systems, outages, commissioning activities, and emergency response situations.
