What you'll do
- Welcome and acknowledge guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
- Provide attentive and personalized service to guests using the swimming pool and recreation facilities.
- Assist guests with towels, umbrellas and other pool amenities.
- Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness and presentation of the pool area, surrounding facilities and poolside furniture.
- Monitor the swimming pool area to ensure guest safety and compliance with hotel pool rules and regulations.
- Observe pool activities and immediately respond to any safety concerns or emergencies.
- Provide basic first aid and emergency assistance when required, in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment defects or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Check and maintain adequate supplies of towels, drinking water and pool amenities throughout the shift.
- Assist guests with requests, questions and information about hotel facilities, activities and services.
- Coordinate with relevant departments, including Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, Wellness and Food & Beverage, to ensure smooth pool operations.
- Maintain professional knowledge of hotel facilities, wellness services, recreational activities and other guest services to provide accurate information.

- Lifeguard or First Aid certification is a must.
- Good command of spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.

- Physically fit and able to work outdoors and stand/walk for extended periods.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Attend daily briefings, departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
Follow all hotel policies, safety standards, hygiene requirements and emergency procedures.
Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standard at all times.
Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Pool Supervisor, Wellness Manager or management.
Qualifications
