Job Description

Position: Part-time Porter

Schedule:  30 hours bi-weekly

Location: 80 Glen Hill Drive South

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Health Care Porter to join our dynamic team. This position is a PART TIME - Permanent role. You will be offered a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed:  

• Teamwork Spirit.
• Exceptional customer service skills,
• High quality service and customer satisfaction. 

• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting, an asset.

• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation procedures (Food Handler Certification).

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow established routines.

• Good physical stamina — able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

• Passion to maintain Long Term Care policy and procedures including Infection Control, Occupational Health and Safety, WHMIS and patient confidentiality standards are complied with. 
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
