What you'll do

  • Follow all plant safety rules, safety training, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Ensure safe operating practices by performing all necessary pre-production safety checks
  • Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment to ensure forklift equipment is operating well
  • Move controls, levers, and devices to drive industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas.
  • Organize and secure materials where loads of materials and pallets are stored
  • Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices
  • Wraps loads as needed; Apply labels on pallets as required
  • Move material to line, ship to customer using the First In First Out system
  • Understands equipment needs and modifications
  • Familiarization with quality standards and line processes
  • Perform and document completed daily housekeeping
  • Performs other duties as assigned
