- Perform high-current and high-voltage component testing to verify electrical, mechanical, and thermal requirements.
- Plan tests, document procedures, set up fixtures, execute testing, process and analyze data, summarize results, report findings, and support failure analysis.

Job Summary:
As a Power Electronics Core Component Development Engineer, you will support full-cycle development of critical sub-components for Caterpillar’s e-powertrain inverters, including power modules, capacitors, sensors, busbars, and related hardware. You will help advance component design and readiness by contributing to supplier selection, technical evaluation, testing, validation, and issue resolution. This role offers hands-on technical experience, opportunities to deepen analytical capability, and regular collaboration with cross-functional teams developing next-generation electrified powertrain solutions.

Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
