Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Power Manager for a Regional Telecom Company located in Erbil, Iraq. Job Summary: The Power Manager is responsible for overseeing all power and electromechanical systems across the company’s network, including power equipment, air conditioning, generators, fuel systems, and related infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in power systems design, maintenance, and operations, as well as project management, procurement, and safety compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee power systems, A/C units, generators, fuel logistics, and related infrastructure across all sites. Lead and manage the Power Operations team, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Manage daily operations to ensure reliability and continuity of all power and infrastructure services. Enhance the infrastructure by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing upgrades. Plan, procure, and manage spare parts and materials efficiently. Design and maintain DC power systems, UPS, batteries, and solar power solutions. Monitor performance using KPIs and implement preventive and corrective maintenance. Oversee and maintain fire systems in compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Coordinate with vendors for procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment. Ensure compliance with safety codes, telecom regulations, and environmental standards. Provide technical guidance, training, and support to subordinates and technicians. Develop energy efficiency plans and hybrid power solutions (diesel-solar-battery). Prepare budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) and maintain accurate technical documentation. Requirements Experience in telecom and data center infrastructure projects is highly preferable. Proven experience managing daily operations for technical or infrastructure environments. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and engineering capabilities. Experience preparing ITT packages and evaluating technical power tenders. Professional attitude with the ability to work under pressure and outside standard working hours when required. Proficiency in relevant software tools: PVsyst, AutoCAD, CADETAP. Years of experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in power-related projects, operations, or maintenance. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Location: Erbil, Iraq. Languages Required: Fluent in English and Arabic.
