- Leading and empowering a diverse, high-performing team – guide and support specialists who help connect renewable generation, storage and hybrid projects to the NEM.
- Providing trusted grid advisory services – help clients navigate connection strategy, generator performance standards, system strength considerations and registration, with a focus on practical, inclusive problem-solving.
- Driving excellence in power system modelling – oversee the use of industry-standard tools (PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and OEM models) while coaching the team to build capability and confidence.

What they're looking for
- Experience in power systems or grid connection – you may have 15+ years in consulting, utilities, developers or operations, or you may bring a slightly different mix of experience that aligns with grid advisory and modelling work.
- Strong capability in grid connection modelling – experience with PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory or equivalent tools, and an understanding of generation control systems.
- A collaborative and supportive leadership style – you engage confidently with clients and colleagues, value diverse perspectives, and create environments where people do their best work.
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications – and RPEQ registration (or willingness to obtain).

Your role
As a Team Lead Engineer in our Queensland Energy Tean, you'll guide purposeful work that supports the future of the energy sector.
