About this role
Are you a qualified primary teacher looking for a rewarding role that offers a great work-life balance without the burden of full-time planning and marking?
We are seeking an adaptable, enthusiastic, and reliable PPA Cover Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching across various year groups in our welcoming primary school community. In this role, you will step in during designated Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time, delivering structured, pre-planned lessons and ensuring a smooth, engaging learning experience for pupils.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned, high-quality lessons across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that supports learning.

Implement effective classroom management and follow school behaviour policies consistently.

Adapt quickly to different year groups, age ranges, and learning needs.

Leave detailed handover notes for class teachers regarding pupil progress, completed work, and classroom dynamics.

Uphold strict safeguarding and child protection standards at all times.
What We Are Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Strong knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2.

Excellent classroom management skills and adaptability across different age groups.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and permanent staff.

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Right to work in the UK.
