A Preschool Curriculum Developer is responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing educational programs for young children, typically between the ages of 2 to 5. They design developmentally appropriate curricula that focus on fostering children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Curriculum Development
  • Design and develop age-appropriate, engaging, and comprehensive curriculum plans.
  • Ensure alignment with national and state educational standards, as well as the philosophy and goals of the preschool.
  1. Research and Analysis
  • Conduct thorough research on early childhood development theories and educational best practices.
  • Analyze trends in early childhood education to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective.
  1. Lesson Planning
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly lesson plans that integrate various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, art, and physical education.
  • Promote holistic learning experiences for preschool children.
  1. Assessment and Evaluation
  • Develop tools and techniques to monitor and evaluate children's progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Use assessment data to adjust and improve the curriculum and teaching methods.
  1. Teacher Training and Support
  • Provide training and support to preschool teachers and staff on implementing the curriculum effectively.
  • Offer guidance on instructional strategies, classroom management, and new teaching methodologies.
  1. Collaboration
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure the curriculum meets the needs and expectations of both the preschool and the community.
  • Maintain open communication to address concerns and provide updates on curriculum enhancements.
  1. Classroom Observation
  • Conduct regular classroom observations to assess the effectiveness of curriculum implementation.
  • Offer feedback and recommendations to teachers based on observations.
  1. Educational Materials and Resources
  • Select appropriate educational materials, resources, and tools, including books, games, and technology, to support the curriculum.
  • Enhance children's learning experiences through thoughtful resource selection.
  1. Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of curriculum development processes, assessment results, and updates.
  • Create reports and presentations to communicate progress and achievements to preschool administration and stakeholders.
  1. Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure the preschool curriculum complies with local, state, and federal regulations and standards for early childhood education.
  1. Worksheet Creation
  • Create 70 to 80 worksheets that are engaging and age-appropriate for preschool children.
  • Each worksheet will be paid at ₹150.

Contract Details

  • This is a one-month contract role.
  • The deadline to complete all worksheets is 1st January 2025.
  • Immediate joiners are required.
