What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging and interactive 1:1 online lessons to primary-aged students.

  • Adapt teaching to each student’s individual ability, pace and learning needs.

  • Build strong relationships with students and encourage active participation.

  • Support students in developing strong academic foundations, confidence and curiosity.

  • Provide a consistent and high-quality learning experience throughout the course.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with relevant academic and programme teams.

About You

We are looking for educators who:

  • Have experience teaching primary or elementary-aged students.

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and/or recognised teacher certification.

  • Are confident working with younger learners and adapting teaching to individual needs.

  • Can deliver engaging and effective lessons in an online environment.

  • Are reliable and able to commit consistently across the course period.

  • Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Have availability that aligns with the Northern Hemisphere teaching window.

Experience teaching English, Mathematics, Science, World Geography and/or Computer Science at primary level would be advantageous.

Why Join Emi?

Teaching with Emi provides the opportunity to work with primary-aged students from around the world in a highly personalised online environment.

Through 1:1 teaching, you can understand each student’s strengths, interests and areas for development and tailor your approach to help them progress with confidence.
