Your role

With continued project wins and a strong forward order book, we are looking for a Principal/Associate Consultant with experience in EIA and consenting projects to join our Scotland Team, although our projects are located across the UK and beyond. This role represents an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with excellent career development opportunities for an enthusiastic, candidate looking to progress their career to the next level.  With opportunities to develop across all areas be it technical excellence, project management and leadership, there is a route for you with AtkinsRealis.  The role will likely include:

• Working collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects.
• Leading and coordinating Environmental Impacts Assessments (EIA) and related consents.
• Leading on and supporting bids and tender opportunities.
• Acting as technical lead on projects.
• Engage with stakeholders and clients.
• Assisting in developing new areas of business.
• Project management.
• Mentoring support junior colleagues.

About you
 

• Educated to a degree level in an environmental or related discipline.
• Enthusiastic and outgoing with a passion for the environment.
• Understanding of consenting and permitting across a range of project types/jurisdictions.
• Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure and deliver technical excellence.
• Excellent reporting /analytical skills.
• Experience of bids/tender preparation.
• Experience of delivering a project from bid to completion.
• Membership of professional body.
• Chartered Environmentalist/Scientist or equivalent(Preferred) or working towards this.

Security clearance

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.  If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
