  • Support the Sales organization as a People Experience Partner, working in close collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, the primary functional partner for our Sales organization.
  • Partner with Sales managers on day-to-day people matters, including performance management, employee relations, and team effectiveness.
  • Escalate themes, risks, and complex matters to the Director of Human Resources as appropriate.
  • Coach managers on people practices, manager capability, and effective team leadership.
  • Serve as the primary People Experience presence onsite.
  • Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding through exit, ensuring a thoughtful and consistent experience for site-based and Sales employees.
  • Act as an employee advocate while balancing business needs and organizational policies.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring needs, onboarding, and workforce planning.

We are seeking a Principal People Experience Partner to support us in a dual-capacity role for human resources activities for our managers and employees at our Medina, MN location. You will assist them in leading all aspects of HR processes, resolving issues, and supporting programs and policies that align with our business objectives.

Your Impact

People Partnership & Advisory 

  • Support the Sales organization as a People Experience Partner, working in close collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, the primary functional partner for our Sales organization.

Employee Experience & Site Leadership 

  • Serve as the primary People Experience presence onsite. 

  • Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding through exit, ensuring a thoughtful and consistent experience for site-based and Sales employees.

Talent & Performance 

  • Support performance management cycles, goal setting, and development planning.

Operations, Compliance & Programs 

  • Ensure people practices align with company policies and employment laws. 

  • Partner closely with People Services / HR Operations to execute people processes accurately and efficiently. 

  • Maintain accurate documentation and leverage data to inform people decisions. 

Team, Site & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with People Experience Partners, People Services, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards. 

  • Support initiatives driven by the People Experience leadership team. 

What You'll Need

The Principal People Experience Partner plays a critical role in supporting leaders and employees while reinforcing a strong, consistent people experience. This role ensures that day-to-day people needs are met with care, clarity, and accountability, enabling teams to do their best work while working with leaders to drive the overall functional and corporate strategies.

Work Location:
AspenTech has a global hybrid workplace for most of our roles. Employees are expected to work in the office 4 days per week and may work remotely 1 day per week, unless the employee has a reasonable accommodation or other approved exception to the hybrid workplace schedule. This role follows our 4-1 hybrid model and is based in our Medina, MN office.

The salary range for this role is $104,400.00 - $130,500.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
