Overview:

Sentara Health is looking to hire a Remote Privacy Compliance Consultant.

 

The Privacy Compliance Consultant develops, executes and maintains an effective compliance program to prevent and detect violations of law and other misconduct. Promotes ethical practices and a commitment to compliance with applicable rules, regulations and internal policies and procedures. Provides compliance guidelines and communicates effectively with leadership at various levels, sharing opportunities for operational improvements. Performs audits to assess processes and controls in place to prevent and detect irregularities. Analyzes privacy audits, participates in investigations and works privacy projects as assigned. Acts as a consultative resource and must be knowledgeable of regulatory requirements as assigned.

Required to manage multiple projects simultaneously, must be self-motivated, organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills. Requires proficient experience with computer software such as Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Healthcare Compliance Cert. (CHC) or master's level in a health-related field preferred. Previous experience in a health care compliance or quality auditor role preferred.

Education:

·         Bachelor's degree and 2 years compliance/project management experience required or 7 years' experience in lieu of degree.

·  ��      Master's level in a health-related field (preferred)

 

Certification:

·         Healthcare Compliance Cert. (CHC) (preferred)

Experience:

·         2 years of Compliance and Project Management (required)

 


We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $67,724.80 - $114,712.00 annually.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
