  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify needs and implement effective solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver commitments in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment while collaborating effectively across functions including Legal, Finance, Controls, Risk Management, Safety, and Project Management
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new systems, platforms, and tools, and to work effectively in a virtual, diverse, and inclusive environment across multiple time zones
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key Disney Cruise Line New Build vendors, suppliers, and business partners

As part of the Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) Disney Cruise Line (DCL) New Build Strategic Sourcing Team, you’ll partner with the best in the business responsible for the creation and delivery of new Disney Cruise Line ships. This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week with Friday working from home. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of four years.

What you Will Do

The Procurement Category Manager is responsible for leading aspects of support and implementation of the entire procurement process for multiple complex DCL New Build related projects and contracts. You will be developing and implementing category sourcing and contracting strategies while ensuring the timely acquisition of materials optimizing total cost of ownership, sustainment, optimal value, safety, and quality assurance and control (QA/QC).

This role requires proven and effective collaboration skills, and the ability to identify needs to support sourcing peers, stakeholder teams, finance & controls, legal, project management and external partners, suppliers and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
