Job Description

Trek Bicycle is looking for a dynamic, driven leader who can support product compliance development for various products. Should have a strong desire to be part of the development of innovative products and technology. The ability to research, interpret, and create necessary strategies to meet applicable regulations is essential. Must be a self-starter who can identify solutions to the company’s needs with little instruction. Should be able to find opportunities and gaps.  This person will report to the Product Compliance Manager and must be able to work cross-functionally with various internal teams to ensure we successfully meet the relative regulations in requested sales markets.  The ideal candidate should have a working application of the English language.

Areas of Focus:

  • Chemical Compliance as it relates to CPSC, REACH, RoHS, ECHA, TOSCA, and SCIP
  • Children’s bicycles and components for product and regulatory compliance
  • EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) reporting
  • Electric bicycle and component compliance
  • Battery compliance and third part certification
  • Regulatory knowledge pertaining to manuals, labels, and packaging  

Specific Skills or Knowledge:
